Powertech IST Otokon has developed ecWIN™ as a load data acquisition and display software tool. This tool is at the core of the AMR Hosting solution. The technology of automatically collecting consumption data and transferring that data to a central database is done via GPRS or 3G. The user’s energy or water meter is attached to the ecWIN™ system over a secure GPRS/3G network established by a private APN (Access Point Name). The ecWIN™ system collects raw meter data, performs metering calculations and verification routines and stores the data in a centralized database. A web server connects to the ecWIN™ database giving users instant access to their data over the Internet. The online tool, called Silk™, manipulates the data and delivers easy to read reports and profiles identifying consumption trends.

What you will need...

An energy meter, with the ability to log consumption data, that either has a built-in GPRS/3G modem or a communication port for an external modem. This can be supplied and installed by an accredited installer or by Powertech IST Otokon. The supply of a private and secure SIM Card is included in your rental.
